On February 6th, this horse completed a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua (sections: 2-2-4), running relaxed and unforced. Five weeks ago, in a Sha Tin 1400m race, the performance was below expectations; settled comfortably tracking the pace, showed good early speed over the first two sections but faded towards the finish. A recent barrier trial showed reasonable form. The horse has dropped 22 pounds in body weight and is undergoing another turf trial over 1200m this time with a 10-pound weight reduction. While the section times are not particularly favorable, having previously recorded two wins over this distance suggests potential for a place."
