Four weeks ago, this horse ran decently over a Happy Valley 1200m, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear with a moderate pace but showing a late surge. Another turf trial over 1200m at Sha Tin, he benefits from a six-pound weight reduction this time. The timing of the trial wasn’t ideal, potentially hindering his chances, however, even if forced to settle back in the field, his finishing kick is strong compared to others in the group. Trackwork has been positive and the horse is improving with each run, connections hope for a good finish.
