On March 2nd, the horse showed a strong return in a dirt trial over 1200m (sections: 1-1-1), demonstrating renewed vigor. On February 20th, a turf trial over 1000m saw him narrowly win after pushing hard over the final 300 meters. Six weeks ago, during a straight course race, performance was subpar with a slow start and settling towards the rear, maintaining a steady pace without a strong finish. Two barrier trials have since indicated improvement. Dropping in class this time, he will attempt Sha Tin turf over 1200m again, carrying one pound more weight. He has seven wins from twenty-one starts at this distance, holds the best time amongst his group, and is expected to challenge for the lead. A clean jump is crucial; a successful break should see him contend for a forward position.
