On March 2nd, the horse recorded strong dirt trial form over 1200m (sections: 1-1-1), leading throughout. Four weeks ago, in a Sha Tin turf race over 1400m, the performance was below expectations; a slow start saw it settle towards the rear. It showed good late speed but finished sixth, beaten one and a half lengths. A subsequent barrier trial indicated improvement. This time switching to Sha Tin over 1600m for its first attempt at this distance, with a one-pound weight increase, the step up in trip is expected to suit. The horse’s overall ability appears relatively strong, and there's mutual confidence between trainer and jockey, suggesting it has potential for a clean sweep.
