MIGHTY STEED

Six weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over a Sha Tin 1600m. He settled in a good position tracking the leaders. Last start, he returned to Happy Valley over a mile, having previous form over the distance and showing reasonable time figures. He was able to secure a good position following the pace. The jockey and horse combination is adequate. Despite needing to carry 20 pounds more this time with a slightly weaker finishing kick and trainer-jockey relationship not being particularly strong, he can still be considered as a supporting act/pace setter.
