Five weeks ago, this horse ran well over a dirt mile, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear. He maintained a steady pace throughout but finished with a slow finishing run. Returning to Happy Valley over a mile, he has four defeats in as many attempts at this distance. His current form is slightly unfavorable, hampered by a poor barrier draw. Settling back in the field may hinder his finishing kick against stronger rivals; trainer-jockey combination isn't particularly strong. However, with a one-pound weight reduction and competitive time figures, he shouldn’t be dismissed.
