Three weeks ago, this horse delivered an outstanding performance over the same course and distance, settling towards the rear before making steady ground to finish a close runner-up, beaten only by half a length. Although he carries a 1lb penalty this time and remains unplaced in three attempts at this distance, and despite an unfavorable draw and a lack of a strong finishing kick, his recent time figures are respectable. With the trainer-jockey combination remaining intact, he remains a horse to watch.
