9/4 (Dirt trial 1050m: 3-4-3) showed excellent early speed to jump out quickly, settled well behind cover, and chased home calmly in the straight. Four weeks ago, he performed poorly over a 1200m Happy Valley course, being able to go forward early but weakening significantly in the final stages to finish well beaten. A recent barrier trial showed slight improvement; however, he has failed in all five previous attempts at this distance on the dirt. With no prominent finishing kick and a lack of synergy between trainer and jockey, his chances remain slim despite having good early speed and an advantageous draw.
