Three weeks ago, this horse ran a lackluster race over the same distance, settling well in the leading group and maintaining a steady pace throughout but lacking any significant momentum. He finished a respectable sixth, beaten only three and a half lengths. Having failed to win in four attempts over this course and distance, his finishing kick remains a concern and the combination of trainer and jockey has not been ideal. However, given his ability to race prominently and competitive recent timings within this class, he could be considered a value outsider for a placing.
