HAPPY BOYS

Four weeks ago, this horse performed reasonably well over a Happy Valley 1200m; he did not jump out quickly and conserved energy, progressing steadily throughout the race and gradually closing in at the finish. Returning to Sha Tin over 1200m this time, he carries six pounds less weight. His pace and the group's timing are acceptable, and his draw is advantageous. If he settles into a stalking position, his finishing kick among the group is arguably the strongest. The horse and jockey's cooperation, along with the stable's tactical planning, appears in sync; however, his overall race positioning has not been ideal. He is a dark horse worth backing.
