Four days ago, this horse performed poorly in a Happy Valley mile; he was slow to jump out and tracked the pace, maintaining a steady run before gradually closing in at the finish. In his last run over 1200m on Sha Tin turf, he was disadvantaged by timing within the field and did not have an advantageous position. He had to sit back, but his finishing kick was inferior to his rivals. The partnership between jockey and trainer did not stand out, although the ideal draw and a six-pound weight allowance in this race are positives; however, he is not considered a top contender for today's event.
