Four weeks ago, this horse delivered an excellent performance over a Happy Valley 1200m, tracking the leaders from a good position to finish second. He was close enough that he lost by only two and a half lengths, indicating a high standard of form. In his subsequent run over 1200m on Sha Tin turf, he was defeated in all three races; the time difference with his rivals and unfavorable circumstances meant his finishing kick was slightly lacking, suggesting this race is not for him.
