BLUE BARON

July 5th (Fromka dirt trial 1200m: 5-6-4) chased within the pack and faded as expected. Six weeks ago, he ran a decent race over a Happy Valley mile, tracking the pace from a good position. Fortunately, he wasn't far behind and was only beaten half a length, showing high class. His recent trial run was mediocre. Running on Sha Tin over 1200m this time, he carries two pounds less and has an acceptable rating in the field. His finishing kick is among the strongest in the group, and the jockey-horse combination is decent; however, having failed four times previously, his current circumstances present disadvantages, so he cannot be ignored.
