5/5 (Dirt Trial 1200m: ran in 4th, 3rd, 3rd) moved out smoothly from the gates, finishing third with composure. Four weeks ago in a similar race, his performance was commendable; he tracked the leaders from a good position and finished fourth. After taking an extra trial run, there was slight improvement. While the circumstances are slightly unfavorable and his draw is not ideal, his late burst of speed within the group was strong and showed competitive timing; he is certainly not out of contention.
