Ran a 1000m turf trial at Conghua on April 20th (4-4-2), showing a good response to strong urging. In the 1200m dirt trial on April 23rd (9-9-5), he was moved out and urged forward. Last time out in April, the performance over a Happy Valley mile was respectable, finishing strongly in the rear. Has improved slightly after two trial runs. Running over 1400m on Sha Tin turf this time with a two-pound allowance, his closing speed in the final stages is the strongest in the field. Connections seem compatible. He has been consistently beaten in his last four starts and hasn't shown outstanding time figures, making him an attractive prospect for a surprise pick.
