Ran a clumsy barrier trial over 1200m on Sha Tin turf (3-3-2). Five weeks ago in the same race, he was very disappointing; he ran freely but faded in the final stages. A subsequent trial showed slight improvement. Entering this race, he needs to carry nine pounds more. He has lost all four previous races, and his finishing kick is somewhat lacking; the jockey-trainer combination isn't ideal. Nevertheless, if he can maintain a good position tracking the leaders with an advantageous draw, it may not be without hope.
