WINNING OVATION

Ran a dirt trial at 1200m on 19/5 (dirt trail: 4-4-1), held a balanced pace and secured the win. Last ran winner, showed outstanding form in a Sha Tin 1400m race five weeks ago by tracking the leaders from a good position to win. Has shown improvement in recent trials. Moving up in class, he tested over 1600m on Sha Tin turf this time, a distance that should suit him. The timing with the group is acceptable, and his position in this race appears clearly advantageous. He has the capability to lead from the start with no unfavorable draw. Overall assessment places him among the top contenders; the horse and jockey pairing, along with the training plan, appear well in sync. Morning work continues to show promise, although he will carry two extra pounds this time and his closing burst is slightly diminished; nevertheless, he remains a key contender.
