(Dirt trial 1200m on May 19th: held back in the straight, lightly stretched out) Four weeks ago, this horse performed respectably over 2400m on Sha Tin turf, running in the rear but showing a weakening late burst. A recent trial looked promising. In another Sha Tin turf run over 1600m, the sectional times were weak and the form didn't quite align. If he settles in the rear again, his late acceleration may not match his rivals. The jockey and trainer partnership hasn't shown standout chemistry, but given his prior results and favorable draw in this race, he could be a dark horse.
