On 22/5, this horse ran a dirt trial over 1200m (running positions in sections: 9-8-7), holding tight on the straight run to test its ability. Five weeks ago, it performed respectably in a similar race. It was slow to get out of the barrier, settled towards the rear, maintained an even pace throughout, and managed to regain some ground in the final stages. Fortunately, the margin was not excessive, finishing only three and a half lengths behind, indicating a high standard. The recent trial showed no improvement. In the upcoming race, it will carry nine pounds more; however, the current conditions do not seem to suit it well, and the jockey-trainer combination is not ideal. The only potential advantage is if it adopts a tracking running style, as its closing speed is the strongest in its division, and having won twice over this distance previously warrants attention.
