Four weeks ago, this horse ran a very disappointing race over 1400m on Sha Tin turf, settling well and tracking the leaders but fading in the final stages to finish heavily beaten. Since then, he ran a dirt trial at 1200m; in this race, he will carry an extra fourteen pounds. Having lost all three starts in a row and being disadvantaged by time against his group, the prospects are not ideal. His finishing kick is slightly lacking, and the jockey/trainer combination is not optimal; I lean towards giving this horse little consideration.
