Five weeks ago, this horse ran a disappointing race over 1400m on Sha Tin turf; he was able to run freely but showed weakening late speed. Fortunately, he didn't travel too far and was beaten by only three lengths. After a trial run, there has been slight improvement. In the most recent Sha Tin turf 1200m trial, he has lost all four races in this race group, showing a slight lag in finishing kick relative to others in the same group. The jockey and trainer do not seem particularly well-matched, but with sufficient early speed to secure advantageous positions and a favorable draw, he cannot be overlooked.
