2/6 (Dirt trial 1050m: 6-7-6) showed subtle straight running and tracked back. Five weeks ago, he performed excellently in a 1200m dirt race, finishing second with a steady run and gaining some ground in the final stages, beaten only half a length. He had a trial gallop but did not show much power. Returning to Sha Tin over 1200m this time with a two-pound weight reduction, his overall rating places him near the top of the field. Connections show good chemistry, but having lost all three previous races, a weak time indicator, slightly unfavorable race conditions, and lacking a prominent finishing kick, he should still be considered as a contender.
