PRESTIGE RICKY

Two weeks ago, the horse performed reasonably well in a Happy Valley mile. He was slow to break from the gate and settled towards the rear, progressing steadily throughout the race before regaining some ground in the final stages. Shifting to a Sha Tin 1800m trip, this was his first attempt at the distance. He will carry one extra pound in this race; the distance doesn't suit him, and his position isn't particularly favorable. The partnership between jockey and trainer hasn't shown any outstanding synergy, but his finishing kick is arguably the strongest in the field, and with an advantageous draw, he could challenge for a placing.
