Having finished without a win in four races previously, and with time gaps to rivals and less-than-ideal draw positions, his finishing kick has not been outstanding, nor has the jockey and trainer partnership been exceptional. His advantage lies in his ability to make an early surge and a relatively favorable race setup, though it doesn't appear calculated.
