Thirteen days ago, the performance over 2000m on Sha Tin turf was very disappointing; slow to get out of the gates, the horse settled back and moved mid-race before making a late run in the final two sections. With a steady pace throughout, the horse progressed poorly and returned heavily defeated. In his subsequent run over 1800m on Sha Tin turf, the time was not outstanding, and the positioning was less than ideal; the closing speed in the final stages was slightly lacking, and the jockey-trainer coordination was not ideal. However, he managed to maintain a good forward position throughout, showing ability in this race, and must be kept in mind.
