Five weeks ago, the horse ran poorly in a dirt 1800m race, being slow out of the gate and running from the rear with a weakening burst in the final stages, resulting in a heavy defeat. Running on Sha Tin turf over 1800m again, this time carrying three pounds extra, the horse has lost all nine starts. The form does not appear to suit the conditions; running from the rear, his finishing kick may not be enough against the competition. The jockey and trainer do not appear to have a particularly harmonious partnership. Fortunately, his time performance is competitive, and based on overall assessment, he ranks among the frontrunners for this race; it is not surprising that his performance was subpar.
