On 21/5, the horse showed ease after surging in the straight section during a 1050m dirt trial at Conghua (2-2-1). Five weeks ago, this horse performed very poorly in a mile on dirt, running from the rear and showing weakness in the final stages to suffer a heavy defeat. After taking a trial run, there has been slight improvement. In its latest 1200m dirt try, the conditions did not suit, it drew a poor barrier draw, and its finishing kick was slightly lacking. There doesn't appear to be a strong synergy between the jockey and trainer, but it is worth noting as its time standard remains acceptable and its form stable.
