5/6 (Dirt trial 1200m: 2-2-1) Topped the field in the trial but was unwilling to accelerate down the straight. Two weeks ago, he performed well over a Happy Valley 1200m, showing good ability and finishing strongly enough to only lose by two and a half lengths. He has shown improvement in recent barrier trials. Returning to the dirt over 1200m, his time was acceptable, and he drew a decent barrier. He can compete near the front, and his closing speed in this group is strong. Based on evaluation, he is considered one of the strongest contenders for this race. The jockey has a good understanding of the horse's temperament, and the combination of trainer and jockey is satisfactory. His form remains consistent, making him a key contender.
