Ran a dirt trial 1200m on 6/11 (9-9-10), straight line running, untested. Five weeks ago, performed reasonably well over 1800m on Sha Tin turf, saving ground in the rear. A recent trial showed no improvement. Returning to Happy Valley over a mile, this course suits him, and the time trials are respectable. With an advantageous barrier draw, the jockey's riding style pairs well with the horse. Training is active; despite slightly unfavorable conditions and lacking a strong finishing kick, he will likely be used as a pace-setter in this race.
