He was slow coming out of the gates, settled toward the rear, maintained a steady pace throughout, and managed to recover some lost ground in the final stages. Fortunately, he was not far off the placings, finishing beaten by three and a half lengths. Subsequently running over a mile on Happy Valley turf, his time was decent in the same field and he drew an ideal barrier. If he adopts a stalking style, his late burst of speed is the strongest in the field, placing him among the highest-rated contenders for this race and capable of continuing his winning streak.
