Four weeks ago, this horse performed reasonably well over 1600m on Sha Tin turf. He was slow coming out of the gate, settled back, and progressed steadily throughout, gradually closing in in the final stages. In a return run over a Happy Valley mile, the circumstances were somewhat disadvantageous due to poor draw and being forced to track from behind; his finishing kick was inferior to the competition, and there was no standout partnership between jockey and trainer, suggesting a lack of specific planning.
