POWER PATCH

Three weeks ago, the horse performed creditably over 1200m on Sha Tin turf; he was slow to break but maintained a good run, following the pace steadily and regaining some ground near the finish. He subsequently ran over 1400m on Sha Tin turf, but conditions were unfavorable; running in a rearward position, his finishing kick may not match that of the opposition, and there is no notable synergy between the jockey and trainer.
