Three weeks ago, in the same race, the performance was disappointing. He tracked the leaders from a good position with a consistent pace throughout, but his run was unimpressive. Fortunately, he wasn't far off the placings, beaten by only two and a half lengths. Having finished seventh in all his previous seven starts, his late run was slightly lacking, but it is not surprising given his lack of recent form and ideal drawing position.
