Three weeks ago, the horse was very disappointing in a Sha Tin 1200m race. He jumped slowly, tracked the pace throughout, maintaining an even tempo with a mediocre run. In his subsequent Sha Tin 1400m trial, this was his first attempt at the distance, which didn't suit him, and his time figures were weak. The conditions were slightly unfavorable in the race setup; tracking the pace, his finishing kick might not match that of the rivals. Fortunately, he drew a good barrier, and the jockey is familiar with the horse, so high expectations are unwarranted.
