On 23/6, the horse performed reasonably well in a dirt trial over 1200m (running position: 8-8-4), showing strong acceleration with more potential. Four weeks ago, in a Happy Valley 1200m run, the performance was very poor; he jumped out slowly and ran in the rear with a steady pace, showing no real dynamism. A training trial showed an average performance. Switching to Sha Tin over 1400m, this is his first attempt at this distance, and the trip doesn't suit him well; his late kick was slightly lacking. The partnership between jockey and trainer has not been outstanding, but fortunately, he had the ability to challenge for a place in an ideal draw, though there was no clear opportunity.
