SUPER WAY, which was slow to begin, was checked shortly after the start when crowded for room between BLADE FORCE and PROSPEROUS which was taken out by HOW WONDERFUL. Passing the 1000 Metres, PACHINKO was crowded for room inside THE UNTOUCHABLELAD, which after being taken in slightly by BLINK AGAIN, shifted in away from that horse. Making the first turn, BLINK AGAIN got its head up on a number of occasions and shifted out, resulting in HOW WONDERFUL being checked when crowded for room inside MORNING GREEN which, after being bumped by HOW WONDERFUL, became unbalanced. In this incident, BLINK AGAIN lost a considerable amount of ground. THE UNTOUCHABLELAD and SUPER WAY, which were following, were hampered in consequence. Approaching the 600 Metres, THE UNTOUCHABLELAD was steadied when momentarily crowded for room between SUPER WAY and PACHINKO which shifted out slightly. Approaching and passing the 600 Metres, TREMENDOUS ADD hung out. Throughout the race, MAGIC KING travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of PACHINKO after the race including an endoscopic examination showed that the horse was a “roarer” which has previously been reported. A veterinary inspection of HOW WONDERFUL and STAR LEGEND after the race did not show any significant findings. MORNING GREEN and MY MELODY were sent for sampling. <16/11/2009 Additional Veterinary Report> STAR LEGEND, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said at that time there were no significant findings. STAR LEGEND was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer Y O Wong this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left hind leg. Before being allowed to race again, STAR LEGEND will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
