DYNAMIC BLITZ began awkwardly. Z Purton (TUSCAN SPIRIT) was found guilty of a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that passing the 900 Metres he permitted his mount to shift in when not clear of DREAM TEAM, resulting in DREAM TEAM being taken in across the rightful running of SUNNY KING, causing that horse to be checked and lose its rightful running. In this incident, PERFECT STYLE, which was racing to the inside of SUNNY KING, was crowded for room and BRILLIANT CHAPTER, which was following, was hampered. Z Purton was suspended from riding in races for a period to expire on Monday, 27 September 2010 on which day he may resume race riding (2 Hong Kong racedays). The commencement of the suspension was deferred until after the Sha Tin racemeeting on Saturday, 18 September 2010. Near the 300 Metres, AMIGO became unbalanced when directed away from the heels of LUCKY NINE which at this time shifted out and away from NIGHTLIGN. Over the concluding stages, NIGHTLIGN got its head on the side and shifted in under pressure. Throughout the race, SHINING VICTORY travelled wide and without cover. LUCKY NINE and NIGHTLIGN were sent for sampling.
