Four weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over a Happy Valley 1200m, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear. It made a mid-race move, attempting to close on the leaders. On its first attempt at a Happy Valley mile, it will carry four pounds less weight this time but the distance is unfavorable. A hold-up tactic is expected in this race; however, the finishing kick was not strong enough against rivals and the form looks unfavourable even with a good barrier draw—further observation is recommended before placing a bet.
