Two weeks ago, this horse performed well in a Sha Tin 1600m race, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear. It made a strong move through the middle sections, accelerating impressively over the final two furlongs to chase the leader. In its most recent trial at Happy Valley mile, it benefits from a five-pound weight reduction but didn’t show impressive times in that group. This time around, a similar hold-up tactic is expected, though finishing kick may not be as strong as rivals; however, drawing a favorable barrier gives it a good chance. Connections are showing confidence.
