Three weeks ago, over the same distance, this horse performed exceptionally well, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before making a strong late run with fast sectionals to finish second. He was beaten by only half a length, demonstrating good ability. This race doesn’t require any additional weight, the overall time is competitive within its group, and he has drawn a favorable barrier. The plan is to settle back in the field and rely on a strong finishing kick – expected to be the strongest in the group. Current form looks good, the jockey has some understanding of the horse’s capabilities, and trainer/jockey relationship appears solid.
