On April 8th, the horse recorded a turf trial over 1600m with sectionals of 1-2-2-5, tracking closely to the front and showing willing pace under pressure from the rider. Eight weeks ago in its last run over Sha Tin’s 1400m, it settled nicely but lacked focus. Following a break, one barrier trial showed improvement. Last start, the horse switched to Happy Valley mile for its first attempt at this distance. This time requiring a 15-pound weight increase, despite appearing suited by the trip and drawing a favorable barrier, it has potential to lead. The jockey understands the horse’s temperament well; showing maturity and progress in trackwork. However, lacking a strong finishing kick, the form is not ideal and there's limited synergy between trainer and jockey—expecting only a place."
