Last ran winner three weeks ago over the same distance with a prominent performance, leading from start to finish for an easy victory by one and a half lengths. A recent barrier trial showed unremarkable form. This race requires carrying six pounds more than its last outing; it has proven records in this distance, possesses the fastest time among its group, and enjoys favorable conditions. Trainer and jockey have good synergy, however, despite drawing a poor barrier, a hold-up strategy is expected but finishing kick may not match rivals, reducing chances of defending its title.
