ACCOLADE START

Three weeks ago, this horse ran a decent race over a Happy Valley mile, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear with a steady pace but showing a late surge. Returning to Sha Tin for 1600m this time, he will carry an additional 17 pounds. He has yet to win in five attempts at this distance, and his recent form is questionable, making his prospects unfavorable. The trainer-jockey combination hasn’t been successful previously; however, the switch to Derek Leung may provide some benefit as the jockey has a better understanding of the horse's capabilities and could contend for a place.
