Three weeks ago, this horse delivered a strong performance in a dirt mile, jumping slowly but settling back and finishing with a fast final two sections to secure second place, beaten by half a length. Now stepping onto the Sha Tin turf over 1600m and carrying an additional five pounds, the distance is expected to suit. A hold-up tactic is anticipated, showing good finishing kick. He appears to have a clear advantage in ability compared to other runners, with good synergy between horse, jockey and trainer. Last work showed improvement suggesting he’s primed for a strong run.
