Two weeks ago, this horse ran well over a Happy Valley 1800m, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before making a strong move in the middle stages with good sectionals. In a recent Sha Tin turf trial over 1600m, the horse benefits from a two-pound weight reduction but recorded slower times compared to others in the group. This time around, a hold-up tactic is expected, though finishing speed may be inferior to rivals; the trainer and jockey combination isn't ideal. Drawing an inside barrier is advantageous considering its overall ability, and the change to Ben Thompson as rider should provide some better understanding of the horse’s capabilities, making it a rough each-way chance.
