Two weeks ago, this horse performed well over a Sha Tin 1400m distance, jumping slowly and settling back in the field before making a strong late run with fast sections. In a recent turf trial over 1600m, he will carry three pounds less this time but his finishing kick was lacking. The form wasn’t ideal, and although he has shown some ability at this distance, the section times weren't significantly better than other horses in the same group. He managed to settle in a good position tracking the leaders, training is active, however there are no clear signs of improvement yet.
