Two weeks ago, this horse delivered a good performance over Sha Tin 1400m. It had a slow jump and settled towards the rear, but showed a strong late run to finish third, beaten two and a half lengths. Another trial over Sha Tin 1600m sees it carrying only a one-pound weight increase this time, with the best time in its group. The strategy is to settle back again, relying on a strong finishing kick – it possesses the strongest closing speed amongst its rivals. Based on current form compared to other competitors, it’s considered a leading contender. Keith Yeung takes the ride, having some familiarity with the horse. Despite drawing an outside barrier which isn't ideal, and a trainer-jockey combination that hasn’t proven particularly strong, it shouldn't be underestimated.
