On May 13th (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 3-3-2), the horse maintained a steady pace and consistently chased the leaders. On April 8th (turf trial 1000m: 4-6-7) it was urged at the 200m mark but showed no further improvement. A more demanding dirt trial over 1200m on March 13th (Conghua dirt trial 1200m: 4-4-2) revealed moderate response. Prior to April, the horse ran well in a Happy Valley sprint, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear but finishing with a strong run. Returning from a long break, it has undergone three barrier trials with unremarkable performances. Body weight has been reduced by 26 pounds. Another turf trial over 1200m at Happy Valley is scheduled, this time with a 4-pound deduction. The plan is to settle towards the rear again but its finishing kick may not be as strong as rivals, resulting in an unfavorable situation. Fortunately, the times of horses in the same group are relatively similar and it has drawn a favorable barrier, offering hope for redemption.
