Three weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over Sha Tin 1200m, with a slow jump and settling towards the back. He showed a strong late run to finish second, beaten by one and a half lengths. In a subsequent trial at Happy Valley over 1200m, he benefits from a one-pound weight reduction and has drawn a favorable barrier. The plan is again to settle towards the back, relying on a strong finishing kick which sets him apart in this group. He appears well positioned with a trainer-jockey relationship that seems positive, suggesting potential for improvement.
