DOUBLE SHOW

On June 26th (dirt trial 1200m: 6-5-3), the horse was urged forward to finish third. Six weeks ago, in a Happy Valley 1200m race, it performed well, settling in a good position tracking the leaders and finishing second with a strong late run, beaten two and a half lengths. A subsequent barrier trial showed slight improvement. Another dirt trial over a shorter distance at Happy Valley revealed a one-pound weight reduction this time but an unfavorable outside draw. The plan is to settle back in the field, however, its finishing kick isn’t as strong as its rivals making for a challenging situation despite previous successes over this course and distance; with comparable times within the group, it's a low probability chance.
